Recruitment Assessment
Eliminate the guesswork. Use the Sales Exam to identify competent
candidates, exclude unsuitable people, confirm strengths and weaknesses,
short list the best applicants, or to compare those on the short list.
The Online Self-Assessment
First, a briefing document is sent to the participant that includes
registration instructions. Registration is completed online. Once
registered, participants can complete the self-assessment part of the Sales
Exam at their convenience. Participants respond to one hundred and fifty
three statements, spread over seven pages. Each page can be completed
separately. Responses examine the sixteen aspects of sales competence.
Personal Review
Shortly after completion of the online self-assessment part of the Sales
Exam, participants will be contacted by the assigned coach to arrange the
Personal Review. This is normally conducted by telephone and takes between
sixty and ninety minutes. The interview is recorded and the recording used
to assess responses and make recommendations. The personalised feedback
report takes up to ten days to prepare. On completion, it is emailed to the
participant together with a copy of the audio recording. At the same time, a
copy of the report and the audio recording are sent to the nominated manager
or sponsor. The personal feedback report contains the following:
Report introduction
Description of the Personal Review process
Summary of aspect average scores
Self-assessment scores for each question
Personal Review scores for each question
Explanations for each question
A description of a top answer for each question
Recommendations for improvement with respect to each question
Average self-assessment scores for each aspect
The
test average score for each aspect
Personal review notes and recommendations
Guide for using the Personal Review
feedback
Note:
Feedback concerning the 'Motivation' aspect of sales competency provides a
score for each of eleven motivators and offers a SWOT assessment for leading
motivators. Feedback for this aspect does not include question by question
explanations or descriptions of top answers. All eleven motivators have
advantages and disadvantages for sales people. The 'Motivation' section of
the Sales Exam offers participants an opportunity to identify leading
motivators, increase understanding of personal motivation, and learn ways to
leverage motivation.
In-House Coach Accreditation
Instead of having a SalesSense or independent accredited coach conduct the Personal Review, you can put
forward your own people for
accreditation.
This is an inexpensive and efficient programme that involves some study, a
one hour teleconference class, and an assessment. The total time commitment
is approximately three hours.
Once you have your own people accredited, there is only a modest per use
licences fee that covers the online questionnaire, the validation
questionnaire and Accredited Coach support tools.
To find out if the Sales Exam can help you,
use the response form above or telephone +44 (0)118 933 1357 and ask to
speak with a sales coach. Alternatively, send email to
